Christian Ethics Lectures

Twice a year, Christ College in conjunction with Christ Theological Seminary, holds modular courses.  These classes typically meet in January and August, continue for one week, and suffice for a significant part of the required work for the class. Students who participate will expedite completion of the degree program, develop lasting relationships with college instructors, and enjoy fellowship with other students. Attendance is also typically open to the public free of charge.

Christopher Strevel, President of Christ College, taught a modular course on Christian Ethics in August of 2010. In this course, Pastor Strevel gives a “toolbox” for the listener to use when applying Biblical ethics and also takes a look at each of the ten commandments.

If you have ever asked questions like:

  • How did Jesus view the law of God?
  • What are the consequences of unbelieving ethics?
  • How does the law of God apply in everyday living?
  • What is the goal of Christian ethics?

then this is the course for you.  Pastor Strevel discusses these topics and much more.

You can download the audio from these lectures at this link.

You can sample two of the lectures in the series below.

Pastor Strevel helped organize Christ Theological Seminary, the ministerial training program of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in the United States. He has contributed to three books and written numerous magazine articles.
